Spammed?

The past few days, I’ve gotten notices of new items in the comments of Citizen Media on my RSS reader, both under the iBrattleboro interview post, both having something to do with Paris Hilton, that when I popped over to the site, weren’t there. Are we getting robo comments?
The second thing I think of when that little RSS message comes up is that there hasn’t been much chatter here. Heather and I met a while back and expressed a will between us to keep meeting. Is anyone else monitoring this site and is there a wider will to continue meeting and generate some Western Mass blogging cameraderie?

yep, those are definitely spam/robo comments. they’re either in the “unapproved” bin, or they’ve been judiciously zapped already.
I usually pop in to see what’s going on from time to time…stopped posting tidbits I find on journalism and citizen journalism that I find because I wasn’t sure if folks were interested in reading them. I think that keys in a bit to what you’re saying about continuing. I’d like to continue, but don’t quite know where things are going.

I delete those as soon as I can after I see them.
Let’s keep the discussion going… and a monthy or quarterly get-together…

I’m still in for keeping the discussion going. As to where we’re going or where we should go, that’s probably what’s up for discussion at this point. Perhaps we should aim to get together maybe mid September?

I can do either the 18th or the 20th (so far.) I’d really like to keep things going, too…I’ve got a number of links I’d like to post on some stuff I’ve found, just haven’t had the moment to do it. might try to get to it today.

Wednesday the 20th works for me, maybe mid-day, starting at about 11:00 to beat the lunch crowd? Have a sandwich, talk a while.
